Hi there everyone
Looking to buy an old pocket rocket battery system or similar for SD/GP system. Don't mind if I need to replace batteries, just looking for a cheap Li ion battery system to start out with. I want it for a F1A4 level 3. Looking to pay as little as possible as I have a super tight budget, so let me know what you got.
Thanks in advance.

Hey Firey, Ive been looking into lithium batteries for my SD2100 & found the Pocket Rocket hard to come by in good working condition, & building a regulated unit myself hardly worth the effort (tho I have bought all the parts to do so), but I found Reeds in Perth have a nice unit. I intend to buy 1 of these. They are $190 if your inclined to fork out for a new unit. I haven't yet looked if any stores elsewhere have an equivalent but its likely someone does.

hey CTX I did a bit of research on the batteries & they seem pretty good, & while I wasn't overly impressed with them being taped into the dome, I figured I could find a plastic case that fits close, & hey presto problem solved. If you know of a system like this that's housed properly let us know. As a plan B, I still have a couple of prefab Voltage Regulator circuits. Just have to find the time & inclination to set 1 up & fiddle with the voltages
