Good day everybody. Been buisy with family matters of late and motivation, but had some time this evening to start counting and categorising finds for the last 3 months . I emptied the containers out and decided to call it a night , will get to it tomorrow after work

The countainers only contain decimal coins including those pesky 1 and 2 cent pieces .the Jewellery container has only costume jewellery, and the junk container has an assortment of items to train on with the detectors . Anyways here is the pick.

Thanks Smokey , competition is fierce down here at Yamba during tourist season .

Good evening fellas - took my alluvial gold finds in to sell today and let the gentleman know that was going through my finds that the silver coloured nuggets might be mercury . Anyways after having them XrFed , turned out that they are electrum or green gold (60% gold, 40% silver traces of copper)I decided to keep them . Heres the pic . The 2 nuggets on the left are the electrum specimens , the one on the right is a gold nugget to contrast the difference.

Out on the hustings last night . Conditions were as dangerous as I have seen and keeping your back to the surf no matter how far away was asking to be barrelled , which was the case twice. Plenty of detectorists about to keep company . Hope all you fellas got out safely . Most good targets are out to sea , but not a bad night on the coin count and some silver capped of a good hunt.

The beaches up here had sand put on them .Windy but the surf was calm..Dam moreton island stopped the swell.

Probably a good thing Smokey , a reckon if cyclone came a little closer , we would be seeing houses in the water . Hate to think what a direct hit with a cat 3 storm would do .

Took an early mark from work and hit the hustings for a couple of hours . Focussed on an area where I only target so often . Nice big cut produced some coinage and a silver ring . Sitting in a cab bath . Happy hunting . Here are the pics
