Hi Guys / Girls,

I recently took my young family on a trip to Sovereign Hill. My kids absolutely loved it most of all the panning. I have since been home on weekends and found all of us on technology and not doing a hell of a lot else. So I have gone out and purchased a Garrett Deluxe kit so myself and my two eldest kids have a pan each and we can go out and get away from technology.

I'm living in Pakenham and was thinking of trying the local creeks and river systems to see if I can bring anything up.

I'm trying to source as much intel / history on the area to establish the best areas to cover.

If anyone had any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.
