Cheers silver, Ive been by that site, its very interesting for coin info. I also found the outside of a bolivar citador coin 2007. But on a more exciting note I got a 1829 Portuguese reis coin a while back. found in Melbourne, who ever owned put a hole in it to wear as a pendant perhaps.

Pity that 1930 penny was cut in half eve... :p
nice silvers and ring too ! 8) :p
:Y:  :Y:
heat up your bent thrippy in boiling water (carefully), place between two pieces of leather (as long as it's bend is possible to straighten) on a hard flat surface (like cenent) and hit it flat on with a hammer, and with enough force to flatten it out. All while it's still hot (so be prepared and do it quickly, safely, and concisely).
Remember it's already bent so nothing that can happen to it matters a great deal, but done properly you will at least have a flat coin to show off.... and a story to tell with it. :D

Thanks silv, I will give that trick a go for the three pence .
Well at least I can salvage half of the thousands the 1930 would have been worth because I now have half the the coin, does it work like that? Hehe
