Picked this old rig up after seeing it advertised on facebook classifieds locally. Needed a few repairs to the canvas but was otherwise all sound. Bloke was asking $2000, I offered $1500, after a bit of umming and arring he said "Yeah that'll be okay, oh it also comes witha 3.5 m roof topper tinnie and 12 hp outboard" So handed over $1500 and towed this lot home.
Decided it needed a paint job and a few mods to bring it up to standard, along with the canvas repairs ( just the insect screens in the windows)
So after selling the boat, motor and RV4 tent I'll no longer need this camper is on the road for a little under $2000.
Pretty damned chuffed to say the least.
Packing up for a three month trip through the top end starting in mid July. Gold detecting the entire time hopefully.
