But depth...stability...multi freq...ect kills the 705 :Y:

Minelab replaced my Nox with a new one so thought I'd try a little beach on bribie island that I haven't worked for a long time.Wanted to test the battery life on the new Nox So backlight on full and after nearly 4hrs it's still got all bars :Y: I was mainly after the pre decimals today cause at this spot you rarely find modern coins as no one swims there anymore :Y: Heres a few pics of the finds
I'll give em a clean and see how they turn out :Y:

I have a sand scoop like your's still wrapped from delivery,I don't use it because it is too long,so I am assuming right or wrong you are a "big bloke" well tall anyway.

Not that tall I'm a bit over 6ft. And 140kg so reasonably big Its a good solid digger mate.I usually hold it just below the top handle though :Y:

Great spot Smokey , plenty of awesome finds. Looks like we have similar sand scoops . Got mine from a bloke in Redcliffe.

The only time ive found that many silvers at the beach is during/after an E.C.L.

Yes that part of the beach got smashed due to some strong winds and some big swells it was a foot or more off the area I've only been there 3 or 4 times and ive never seen the sand that stripped :Y: I got really excited when I first seen it :Y:

Cheers mate I cleaned it out to the capability of the Nox so I probably will have to wait till the next cyclone before I find to much more in that area :Y:

The only thing that helps me get a few coins is I get there at 330am........a few hours before the rest of them :Y:

Thanks for that, got to hit those areas after storm pronto before others clean out such areas. Might do the same down here with the recent weather, haven't done beach detect for ages. Problem is the 200km round trip to do so.
