Hi Gents
A more serious hunt today.
Thanks to wrecka for the link to Qimagery I found some crown land 5mins from my house that had a small house on it prior to 1952..Got about 2hours there this sarvo .It definitely looks promising. Found the bottle dump within the first hr and kept a few bottles theres so many more there but that's for another day.Heres the few finds that I did get.
This is some sort of foreign gaming token.
Looking forward to spending a few more hours there hopefully theres some more silvers Stay safe ower: :beer:

Cool little bottles and more silver than I've seen for a while, nice research :Y:

Dug up a few of them pecks jars as a kid hunting for old bottles with the old man. Used to think they were pretty cool as they looked like a hand grenade, but the old fella wasnt interested as he used to say that they werent old enough and keep digging, the better stuff is deeper. Wish I had of kept one now.

I thought it might be an old vicks jar but I think it is hair cream like you say Roy.
Definitely s/p shaker. Will be interesting to see what else comes out as theres alot of pottery as well.

Yer it's a pretty average effot. But it's a bit less than usual...Not enough good targets to keep me interested

5 hours is a long stretch for me...unless I am out 4 or 5 times a week which is rare these days.

I need at least 5hrs to satisfy the urge as I only go once per week at the moment .I'm well and truly ready for some cold refreshments by the time I get back. :lol: :lol:

Cream , jam and sprinkles

Hi All
Got out for a couple of hours the other day for a high tide hunt.
The sand was getting churned up but still didnt find much.
The crusty sea silver.

The ring was plated at some stage but fell to bits when I picked it up.That florin cleaned up prety good for how crusty it was.
