Yeah that's what I expected, they are all 1st class machines, but they all respond differently to different metals, which is why we need so many machines in the arsenal.

Most of those in ground tests are flawed with respect to achieving a uniform setting across all detectors, not to mention equivalent hardware. If the Garrett had its standard coil vs the large NEL coil, it would have been a more realistic comparison, and shown that the AT would have really struggled to pick up on those coins in stock form.

Either way, I think you are doing well to have any of those detectors in your arsenal.

Yes just view as FYI. There was no attempt at setting comparison. I would not base a purchase on the video. But very interesting.
