Katoomba NSW and Blue Mountains generally

Hi not sure where to put his post....

Gotta be in / around Katoomba tomorrow for the day tomorrow and thinking of chucking the defector in the truck....

Other than the obvious off limits Nat Park and usual no-go zones - if there anywhere up there worth a swing?

Will be driving up from Manly via great western highway so anywhere en route would be good.

Any suggestions??

Open to any ideas don't have a specific 'thing'.

Sunny Corner is a bit further up the highway and gold is roumored to be in the state forrests around oberon.

A fly poo in each is the best I have been able to do to confirm the rumours.
