I'd also like to know this please. How much salt to vinegar ratio?

I just stupidly done my golds and silvers together with al foil and bicarb and now the silvers have tarnished and neither cleaned very well. :(
 
keep adding salt to vinegar till it wont dissolve anymore I soak them for 1/2 to 3/4 hr then clean them under water using one of those small brass wire brushes you buy in places like super cheap they come in pack of three but only one is brass.Sometimes coins may need a little bit longer if REALLY dirty

Decided on a beach trip down West Beach way today with enough to pay for the diesel

Then found 2X 20 pence coins Never found any of these before

Managed to find 2 trains 1cab 1Holden ute n 1 Mustang which bought on a conundrum do i catch a cab home or a train or just go home in a Holden ute But then how do i get the Nissan home with a Mustang in the back

Also found enough tent pegs to go and buy a tent to use them on Oh well decisions
 
Well back to a local park i have done with the 705 before(a few times) Now with the 3030 and walking slowly for a total of $9.75 (sorry no photo as camera battery was flat)12 bottle caps n 8 ring pulls.Going to stop digging those numbers as i know what they are
 
Have done 1 beach trip and 3 Park trip for 1 pair of sunglasses(I think it was love at fist sight)

In the parks i found a one pound British coin which is 925 silver

Good finds flyrodder, I do like the glasses and earrings, lol. It's a boon finding a pair of earrings.
The British one pound is interesting. Well done must have been fun finding all that

Flyrodder - there not common around my area at all mate, nice find.
They not common anywhere Dan...I have found 2 in 20yrs of detecting. :Y:
 
Well down to Brighton beach just before low tide with the ctx and it had its job cut out for it First a shilling
