Hi I was just playing around with my black light and came across these. The first pics you can see the very vivid blue but the second lot of pics its hard to see but the stone seems to like Ive lit a candle up on the inside when I run the black light over it. Im only new to this so any help would be much appreciated:)
Thanks

Hi Shaza1, Im with Heatho...... I think in pic 1 & 4 you have a piece of Calcite with a few small Crystals of Fluorite in there...
And pic 2 & 3 Calcite ?. or Very Clear/White Fluorite. :)

Calcite 'Feels' Waxy, when you handle the Stone..?

LW....

Its a pretty far size stone lol the bit which glows is about the size of my little finger nail and is super smooth almost like hard arrodite glue. It looks like it goes into the stone. Should I attempt to break it open ??

Thanks marksman,
With them diamond testers can you test for other gems? If so what would they read? :)

Yep plenty of quartz there Shaza.

The diamond testers pretty much only do diamonds, not sure if you can get other testers that reliably test different stones. That's getting more into the gemology side of things like using refractometers, specific gravity and other tests to positively identify stones.

the truth is i havent so i cant comment on that side
but some have the following write up
test Diamonds, but also Moissanites or Industrial Synthetic (simulant) Diamonds.
