My first attempt at building a bunnings sluice. Cost me around $30. I took it to my spot and ran 3 20lt buckets through it.

Looking good to me. If you can do this then converting it to a mini highbanker and adding a little electric pump shouldn't be too hard for u.
I like the way those bits your using to hold down the matting look like they should help even out the water flow a bit.
I could suggest a few ideas for converting it to a highbanker, but lm sure there are people on here that have more experience with it so l'll leave that to them.

Going nuts over this way cutting silage, but if there's a bit of drizzle I can escape it for a bit of a look see in a creek?
 
Hey jm.Yeah when I went through that way there was tractors everywhere. Just popped out with Riley my 4yo son for a couple of hours. We had a blast and got a little gold. Will have to catch up again for a dig
