This what I'm cooking for dinner tonight by request from guests that have had it before :Y: :Y:

This is a recipe I got a lot of years ago from the USA and because of that there are is a substitute needed, just get a "Ham Hock" instead of the ham bone.

The whole thing needs to be cooked for several hours untill the meat is falling off of the bone and you can mix it through the beans. The dog gets the skin, bones go in the bin

Just don't eat too much of it if you're going to be in a confined space the next day, a few :bomb: might go off, or a long way from a dunny, coz it might make you :poop:

cheers Keith

Nothing I cooked tonight but we attended The Aussie Night Markets. WOW. Such an amazing variety of fine foods. It will take me many visits to try all the foods I wanted tonight. Live music, jumping castles etc for the youngsters, great atmosphere. Most vendors seemed to be from the Sydney area and going by those I spoke to they travel all around the state.

We had some Asian style sliders, Bao and some Canadian style Poutine which I have always wanted to try. Lastly some pork ribs. Plus we brought home some desserts. A lovely evening.
