Hi all,
as the title says im a complete and utter newbie, i'm looking for information, tips etc to start out on metal detecting, gold & gemstone prospecting, i would like to eventually get to know a bit of it all.
Live in southwest WA place called Manjimup.
so please any help is appreciated thanks

Welcome to PA mate . What equipment do u have (detector) etc . Proberly a few members would live close to you . I live in Queensland so cant give you much local knoledge
 
i dont have any equipment, no idea what is decent or what is useless junk, at the moment its all learning
