Granite??

Hi, I was just wondering if the image below is granite or might it have some jasper in it. Leaning towards granite.

It comes from a quarry in the Eurobodalla area. The quarry isn't far from an area that jasper was found. Thinking it is a green granite though,

I would say that it is a pegmatite within the granite together with some epidote alteration. A pegmatite is a very coarse grained fractionation of the granite. The epidote is a result of some hydrothermal alteration either at the time of the pegmatite forming or more likely following the formation.

I have been reading up on it and I have answered my own question. Yes and the finished product can be lovely.
