Thanks for the info and link GP. The MI-6 is worth protecting. Even though I am happy with my DIY protection I think I will order one of these. Guess I should get one for Rocket while I am at it. LOL :D

Mi-6 cover arrived today, pretty simple to fit though had to use a bit of brute force to get the cover flush with the pinpointer (friction against rubberised grip on the Mi-6). As the rear cover now sits over the lanyard loop ring, it is pushed into the rear cap but still swivels just fine on the end of the lanyard itself. In case you are wondering, the length of electrical tap on the front of the plastic packet is for sealing off the top end of the clear main cover - the black end cover itself is loose enough to allow unscrewing of the rear cap for recharging. Should do the job! :Y:
