Desided to go up to hanging rock after crystal quartz. Found the gully and hiked down ( yeah i own an i40 ) into the gully. Nice spot got a bag with my gear in it shovel and pick over the shoulder. Found some nice crystals small but complete and one large piece of quartz covered in crystals. Happy with my day looking around and digging with no ides what i was looking for i headed back out of the gully everything weighs ten times its weight when hiking up hill. But i had a fun day 1st of many.

Seen some NICE crystals found around Hanging rock. We were detecting in the pine Forrest a while back and some youngsters in the group hacked at the root balls of fallen trees and found some really nice quartz crystals.
