Miners Moss etc

Hey team
Thought it I'd put up a little about miners moss and other similar products.
Before I did enough research, I bought some Miners Moss off fleabay.
I paid $36 for a piece about 900mm by 400mm. See pic1.
The 2nd and 3rd pics are from Bunning. On a roll it's a about $40 per metre. Looks identical to me.
Pic 4 is a door mat at Bunnings. Some experienced people prefer this as it has a backing and gold can't work its way to the bottom and possibly be washed away.
The rolls and door mats are also available at Clark Rubber.

I think it may be Brad.
Not 100% sure. I'll have a look next time I'm there.
If you quick you could pinch the mat at Clark Rubber's front door... same stuff

Do the Clark rubber customers wipe gold off their shoes when entering?

Kmart has a cheaper and softer mat for 10 bucks.

The original product was made by 3M and is called Nomad Matting. They made it backed and unbacked. There are now many copies of varying quality, but the original unbacked Nomad was the best.

When I set up my high banker I ran the ribbed mat the full length that way I dont have to worry about what I put on top. Just a thought. Also the ribbed matting from clarks is better than the stuff at bunning. The stuff from bunnings splits.
