Thought I would make a bit of a list of new detectors and detecting accessories that have been released or near to release in 2017 for those interested. No doubt some items will be overlooked being a bit more biased towards coin/relic detecting.

Tesoro

Tesoro Mojave

Bit of a cross between the Compadre and Silver Umax, with the addition of ground control switch for mild/hot soils. Runs 12kHz and comes with a 7" concentric coil.

XP Metal Detectors

XP Deus 9" Round high frequency coil & Elliptical HF coil (yet to be released)

Allows choice of frequency between 14, 30 & 59kHz, improved capacity Li battery now mounted in the stem for easier access. Elliptical coil offers a higher frequency at 81kHz, the other two frequencies remain the same.

XP MI-6 wireless pinpointer (yet to be released)

Can be used with the Deus for wireless capability plus extra functions, or as a standalone unit. Waterproof to 6 metres, 90 hour battery life on inbuilt lithium battery.



Rutus Detectors

Rutus Alter 71

An interesting new Polish made VLF to the market which offers adjustable frequency between 4.4kHz through to 18.4kHz in 0.2kHz steps. Ability to run motion and non-motion modes simultaneously and has fully adjustable reactivity.

Good summary. A bit of extra info for the gear that I sell:

Headphones:
Deteknix Wireless Headphones (both Lite and Pro versions), I have them including 3.5mm transmitters to suit the Go-Find and Gold Monster users. Can also get the WR Transmitter/Receiver kits with the 3.5mm transmitter.

Still have a couple of the DEUS headphones available, and more on the way.

Deteknix Scuba Tector:
The Scuba Tector is in stock. Functionality wise it is identical to the Wader Li/Diver, but features the new pro shell with tapered end, and the small 5 coil. Depth on coin size targets is improved, so it is more of a mini detector rather than a pin-pointer. I can see it coming in handy for those deep target digs when swinging the Zed or the 5000 with 19 Evo!

Xpointer PRO:

Nokta Impacts have finally arrived loaded with latest Software version. We should start to hear some reports from Aussie users soon, once people put them through their paces. For me, there isn't much it doesn't do. From beaches to goldfields and everywhere in between.

It certainly seems to be a big year for New Gear. At Detectectorist.com.au I too am looking toward the future and what can be made available to Australian Detectorists.

Just a Quick Clarification on the XP Deus Version 4 line-up and Release dates.
It has been a LONG wait for the Final piece of the Puzzle, but I can say that it is Finally about to drop.

- The Elliptical coil will be out in Mid-July. Stock is ordered and production slot has been booked. I have been using this little fella for about 3-4 months and I'll publish more as we get closer to the release date of Mid-July.

- MI6 Pin Pointer has been released, I grossly under estimated the first order (Sorry) Next batch is leaving France this week and hopefully this will satisfy current demand. User feedback is very good but those with a Deus are seeing the biggest benefits with the wireless integration and ability to adjust using the Detector while pin pointing.
I won't carry on and I'll let the reviews speak for themselves on this one.

- HIGH FREQUENCY XP Deus packages are Now available in "Goldfield" and "DEUCE" packages. Both of these have the White 9 Inch HF coil as standard with the "Deuce" having the black coil as well.

I sincerely believe that with the HF coil options the XP deus is the most versatile VLF metal detector on the market today. Being Modular you can start with a LITE and add components as the $2 coin or Nugget jar starts to fill up.

From $1349 It is well worth a look.

ALL Units are Now Factory Installed Version 4.
