Was there in 2010 - we camped at the reserve behind the public toilets at Sapphire but that now is mainly the local swimming pool, from memory it was around July - at that time they permitted overflow free camping at the nearby reserve where they hold the Sunday Markets. When the Gemfest is on the place is packed but it is well worth attending.
