Possibly, but I don't think so. There were only a couple of other people on the beach and they were sitting in a group, and we weren't in the water for very long Besides nothing else was taken...
 
No I haven't heard anything....I guess it's either not been found or someone found it and kept it. Bit sad but I shouldn't have been so careless. Thanks for asking.
 
Try the local Police station if you haven't already...it may have been found by 'honest' folk and turned in...???

Alternately, can you hire your own switch on and go detector (even an Aldi one should find this)...
 
Thanks. I have rung the local police but no one's ever there- it always goes through to msg bank and I have to leave a msg. But ti will try again. Re hiring my own - trouble is I live in Sydney, so not possible. But thanks for taking an interest. Good luck with your detecting.
