What type of stones.. gemstones or just beach stones?
Look at low tide on various days. Or whilst the tides going out. Should see them gathered along the same line

I picked up these beach stones a week ago. They seemed to look nice when wet. Get them home and after a day they just look like normal stones. But the variety is interesting
