Yes doing very well.... :Y:

Got out this arvo for a quickie because I had to come home and cook dinner....
There wasn't much around the beach and I had to think outside the square....
I left the 705 at home with the DD Coil and took the 505 with the standard 9" Concentric...Smaller coil meant I was able to get into
tight quarters around the beach huts....
Well that worked a treat because there were lots of good signals popping up....Happy to say that beach is going to be a gold mine
over the summer months.

Well I finally got out for a good dig this afternoon with Kiara to a beach where I've pulled a couple of small silvers.
There have been some big cuts lately all along every beach and I've been doing a few night digs but never managed to get
any pictures a I just threw all of the goldies, $45 worth into the jar.
No jewellery and with the rain we've been having not many people around the beaches, the council has also put up no swimming signs
because of the sewerage that has been coming down the creek.
Anyway we did good today and I had my best ever Silver day, coins were scattered all along a small cut of beach, I said to Kiara
god I wish I wore my shorts because I'd be in the surf collecting as many coins and silvers as I could, always another day.
Also met a nice young lady named Hayley, we chatted and chatted for a good half hour, she was so interested in the detectors and also
our finds....We exchanged numbers as we have a lot in common, amazing how you can meet someone for the first time and instantly
feel like you've known them your whole life.

While the rain has been around I cleaned some silvers I had lying around, these were also beach silvers.....The ones from today are soaking
and I will do another picture of them when I've cleaned them.







So many sun-bakers today...

Thanks mate, you know I've dreamed of finding a spot like this and whaddya know aye it pops up.

So me being the opportunist I decided to go back tonight and found out Sam and Jess were heading towards the same direction
for a dig so I said why not tag along with me.
I hit my cut before Sam and Jess arrived, they met me further along the beach but I managed to pull out some more coins and also
big Silver.....A Florin finally....
We didn't stay there long as Sam and Jess weren't really in the mood for a long dig, I told them you know what for the weekend you two
can have the cut, I showed them where it was and said if you work it over the next few days it will reward you.
I gave Sam my beach scoop and told her to charge her Excalibur II up and get down there, that machine will absolutely kill it, they thanked me
then we parted ways.
You know I don't mind giving someone a helping hand, I also know that the Excalibur II will punch deep and also it being waterproof she can
hit the surf with it and my beach scoop, I also said she can have my half wetsuit which she will pick up later today.
I did mention that if she were to find a Gold Sovereign she has to show me it... lol



The florin is going to need some TLC



The shilling is in need of TLC too...

Thanks Heatho, I hope the girls take my advice and hit it hard and get some nice silvers as well....

As for my silvers well they cleaned up pretty good, the Florin is going to need more TLC to clean it up.
