Sunday date night with my Daughter Golddiggergirl who felt upset because she said it was our thing prospecting and metal detecting so Mum said she would stay at home for a night and let her come along. Had no bag for rubbish so everything went into my pockets - so thought I would add that to the pic to show all of the 3-30-33 signals which is also 3-Ring 30-$2 33-$1

Monday date night with the wife had a good time but I really need a detector for wet sand because targets were everywhere....Managed to pull a 50c and 20c out of wet sand because they were close to the surface.

Difficult job to keep the tears at bay and have everybody happy n smiling all the time when life holds so many demands, can only share yourself fairly by taking less and giving more, still all good as long as all the variables balance well ,..... it's what we do hey ! ;) ;) :D

True it is what we do....balances itself out pretty good in our household.

I wish rhey all wanted to get out to detect :p , jostling for prime possie of detecting partner all the time, wouldn't that make life easy.

Sure would mate, save enough of those Gold coins and I will buy another detector which the kiddies can swing with and is light enough....Go Find 60 looks the go for them... :)

Date night dig 17/1/2017 with the wife showed up a few surprises and the usual suspects....coins coins coins, and earrings....the highlight of the night was just as we were leaving a couple had got up and left, I decided to swing the detector a bit longer and shone my torch on a purse, quickly grabbing it I chased down the couple and couldn't find them, we never heard a car so I knew they weren't too far so we drove around looking for them as I had opened the purse to check for address/Id but nothing but Make-Up and a large sum of cash....I felt down not knowing if we'd find them and when we did it felt so good.....the guy thanked us and then yelled to his girlfriend and we parted ways so all in all a great night out.

I also found something else which I will post later as it is sitting outside all rusty, first thought was it could be from a ship wreck? But we shall see it is shaped like a police baton picture inserted.

Well done on the purse return gda, not often you can get something unmarked back into the right set of hands so quickly , may only good things befall you. :D

Earring is some sort of alloy...and the mystery object is still a mystery....will upload photo of it when I put photos on the computer...All the crap that was on it has now been removed.

This may be the first Diamond find...Only thing found last night on beach with a lonely 5c piece....slim pickings for date night with my daughter. Stopped at a local park 2 minutes from home and a quick 10min swing gave $4 I wanted to make sure my jar continues to fill up. 5 weeks with the 505 has produced $100+ in spendables.

Was told on Facebook it isn't a Diamond because faceting is all wrong....I only did Fog test and it passed with flying Colours compared to the CZ Ring

8) Would be letting light in through holes in the back if it was a diamond I'da thought ! (not that I'd know for sure). :D
