Cheers Heatho.....

So last night I met up with another detectorist, Dan the legend....
It was a good night and I even managed to pull two rings out of the hat.
Silver and Junker....
We traveled to the USA, Hong Kong, England, New Zealand.... Lots of tourists around...

Until next time....Happy Detecting and a good life. :D :Y:

The good/great start to 2019 continues and we are nearly into February.

I am assuming that the silver ring is on the left, and if so it is a good chunk of a silver ring.

"Soon" I might be saying a good/great end to 2019 if this keeps up :D

Considering I haven't been out a lot I am happy with the finds...
I think I am ahead of my ring count from last year around the same time, coin count is down a little as inner city folk like plastic - fantastic it would seem. :D
And yup good old Sterling Silver.... :Y:

Got out over the weekend and also last night.....One of the beaches I do over the summer months had a few $5 and $6 coin spills...
Been doing a lot of water detecting mostly and loving every minute of it, a 4 ring haul last night made my week with the find of the night
going to the 1957 rams head shilling.....
I have done this area time and time again after every big swell event/storm and something new shows up.
Within 2 meters of the low tide mark from shore was all 5,10,20,50c coins....Out about 15-20 meters past the sand bar $1 - $2 coins
looking forward to my next adventure out in the water. :D

Until next time, happy detecting everyone.

Cheers GDA :Y: :) :D

Thanks Danny and smoky.... The stones are more than likely peridot... They are set in a way that the pointed unders connect, dig into the skin. I know this is a common thing with Indians as they use the stones for many things like health, wellbeing, manifesting etc....

Wow, what a stash of modern treasure with a bonus old one thrown in too. Dunno if I'd like to wear a ring that digs into your finger but if my health and wellbeing will be magically fixed I'll give it a try

Depending on the setting it can be comfortable, the ring above needs to be worn loose because if it is too tight it doesn't feel good especially when you take it off lol

Out for a dig last night with my son Jacob for a water detect, he decided to have a swim and ended up getting cold so we cut it shorter than I wanted but we did find a Silver ring within 1 minute of detecting.
Met another detectorist who did have a night torch....He was using a Garrett AT Max and where I found the ring he had been over already.
Into the water we went and we got a couple of coins and a clay pot....
Anyway onto the next dig we shall go...
