Look what I got :8 My second detector so I can cover the beach where the ATGold can't, but it will see dirt :) :)
Huge thanks to Nenad at Phase Technical on a special November deal and Goldpick for helping convince me it's up for the job
Will have to keep the goldies flowing to cover it quick

FOB" fresh outof box:cool:

Package was $995, bargain, the pinpointer is $160 odd by itself
That's a lot of goldies but they can come quick around here
Second member of the search, rescue and recovery team

It definitely has some cool features RJ
Will have to dig some junk so I've got some test bits to set it up right ;)

Thanks guys, decided to go a first run on a standard 3 tone setting to get the feel for it and to see what I need to notch out
1st solid target was a ring pull, 2nd target $1 :)

Didn't dig a huge amount of targets and ended up being chased away by rain

That's a promising start considering you only just purchased the Racer. ;) I like the 2 tone setting, both for improved depth and for the VCO audio in that mode - gives you a good audio indication of target depth/size over 3 tone. :)

Thanks GP, I'll give the 2 tone a try next run, It's not the same id numbers as the ATG but goldies definitively stick out nicely
I notched it up a bit and for a run and totally notched out ringpulls but sings nicely on the 4 gold ring samples I've got
Only coin it loses is 10c but am running that in a park :)
