Managed to put in an hour before work this morning, was pretty ordinary - a couple of goldies ( mower got to some ) and I even chased few 20c too ! Then was nearly ready to pack up and got a real iffy signal, went to walk away but threw caution ... Well 1890 mounted Sov ! Is it coin or jewellery? Any ideas on value ?? Missus is away and sent her a photo, Might not get the " you're always detecting " for a while. Pretty happy Wadey today

Been in ground + would have bezel marks on it.

Value - at least $300.00 for scrap + the bezel weight.

Get it cleaned and sell it for more maybe $500.00

Looks good for coming out of the ground,worried about the black toning on the bezel though.

I think we are all very jealous of that find, one very big bucket lister that's going to be hard to beat for a long time.

Forgot to mention, might be worth taking it to a jeweller or coin specialist to get it appraised.

GOLD! Why does detector make iffy sound for good stuffs! My detector make funny sound on silver coins but nice crisp sound on Pennies!

I was in Angus and Coote not long ago and they do a Sovereign pendant...real Sov but more refined...

2 hunts this week, coins on right just a ramble over new spots but $17.20 on left small area I hit hard 3 weeks ago...oh I think I've maybe found a little HH please ?
