I went to the beach this morning... 2am
This was the first real effort with the ctx on the beach (yes , its true)
It was quite a productive hunt too :D
But , to be honest, i really doubt that i did any better than i would have using the sovereign.(with which i am very comfortable and familiar) in fact , i believe that the sov hits a lot harder on deeper targets.
Basically i only hunted by sound anyway , because having the screen illuminated impared my night vision and i dont like to be a big stand out beacon for all to see.
Anyway ... each to their own ;)

Killer hunt Sandta, first stone is likely to be lapis lazuli, second bunch of stones are likely to be either sappires or blue topaz, most likely sapphs I reckon.

Well done mate. :Y:

Thanks fellas
The early bird gets the worm ( or the goodies :D )
I dont get to the beach too often nowadays Smokey so wasnt sure what to expect
But finding a fresh little cut meant i was in with a chance .... ;)

Unbelievable hunt Sandta - blue stones look like lapis lazulite ( hope I spelt that correctly) . Coins been in the sand for a while . Maybe take the sov down to see if you can clean out the rest 8)
