I spent a good 15 hours in the shed today and got a fair bit done. Built the top wing. Turned the cannons out of a couple of hardwood garden stakes, then did some work on the side wings, assembled the top engine nacelle and continued with fill between the formers. Lots of fiddly stuff.

Made a crevicing tool out of spring steel, the off-cuts of a miners pick I made from the same leaf spring.

Our two pooches sleep inside, so I wanted to convert the tv cabinet we had into a dog bed. The cabinet was too narrow, so Mr Pot (bless him) made the cupboard 150mm deeper, more room for the dogs to turn around. I did all the paint stripping, sanding, staining, painting and waxing, I lined the inside of the cabinet with copper foil to help stop EMFs (I hope so anyway) then I lined that with noise deadening insulation. Stained the top and painted the rest white and waxed it all. Mr Pot cut the door centres out and we cut up a crate for the wire and added the wire to the doors. He made a solid shelf for the top and I stained and waxed it and put it all back together. Pretty happy with the results and both dogs seem to like it to sleep in.

We dont have kids to spoil, so the dogs cop the spoilin.
But No! They arent allowed to use the remote control!
