Hey everyone.
Not sure what I'm looking at here but it was found on top of quartz and shale covered hill in the Whipstick Bendigo.
First pic is the top that's been exposed to the weather.
Second pic is underside of the same.
Also there is a quartz layer in between.
So any ideas what this is?
 
I put it back where i found it and marked the spot on the GPS.
I think i spent more time exploring that day instead of detecting.

Goto hand it to prospecting....it's made me learn more about our country and the planet in general than school ever did.
 
Looks man made like they were stuck to something. The bottom photo bottom left looks like an edge of adhesive like mortar. My guess is that mortar has been applied to the outside and the stone has been stuck to the outside of something creating the oval shape in the middle.
