Anyone heard a rumour about a new wiz bang detector about to be released?

lol, thought that one of the big companies were doing something, Minelab, Whites or Garrett?

Noticed that Whites TDI PRO OZ have been out of stock for some time, and Whites electronics arn,t even advertising the TDI PRO on their site any more....

The TDI Pro Oz is always in and out of stock, and is currently only sold to the Australian market, has been like that now since around 2014. ;)

You would think Fisher are just about overdue for a new detector release.

Yes, but Whites in the US don,t even have the TDI Pro in stock, they are just advertising the tdi sl.

There's nothing new or surprising about that, mate. Whites Electronics don't advertise several models on their home site that are sold here. eg. the Sierra Pulse Pro (SPP). These specialist prospecting detectors are made by Whites for their major US West Coast dealer, Jimmy 'Sierra' Normandi and distributed through his shops and agents, such as Goldsearch, Dunolly. It's an unusual arrangement, but the lack of website publicity for certain Whites models doesn't relate to the TDI Pro being dropped (which some have previously suggested) or a long-rumoured new model arriving.

They were advertising it 2 weeks ago, because im trying to sell mine, and was comparing prices.
Gold search just has a sold out under theirs, and Whites US have removed theirs from the page, im not talking about the pro oz, never seen it on the us site, but the tdi pro was there. The tdi pro is not made for the Australian market, the pro oz is essentially the same machine with a different coil.
Apparently there has been some testing going on in the US for some time of a new PI machine, and rumour has it, that they are now testing in oz, and the results have been very good.
Anyway, time will tell. I know the rumour has done the rounds for ages, but apparently, the whites protype has also been around for some time.

Thanks grubstake....where theres smoke......ive read most of that, and it rears its head again this year, wouldn, t surprise me if one of the companies has made a new machine with some good advances.

I can't confirm but apparently a new sdc 2600 has been spotted at a coiltek store.
It may be shite but maybe not.
