I have been scouring the internet for information on the X-Terra 705 and while the information is out there it is generally spread all over the place and I thought I would try and condense it all into one spot as a reference for X-Terra owners.

I have the 705, but if anyone reading this has information relating specifically to the 305 or 505 let me know and I will update this with the info.

Has anyone found gold with the xterra 705 is the big question? I keep digging hot rocks and on the id scale is 30 gold? And im pretty sure -4 -6 -8 & 48 are hot rocks or rusty barbed wirer in coin shooting in prospecting mode the iron discrimination doesn't always mask the iron as ive dug up enough to make a fence lol any help or suggestions

there is a member who has found sub gram nuggets with his xterra 70 which is the older model, can remember his user name

Yeah them machines are pretty much the same. It would be good to get a heap of detectorist to hit my property just to see if theirs is any nuggets here. So i can see if im wasting my time or not

Hey Quartzman, welcome to the forum mate.

Quartz is a good indicator for gold but doesn't necessarily mean that gold is there, what colour is the quartz on your property?

Trying to post a picture of this lump of quartz its bigger then basket ball has veins of crust black iron or some think and pure white most of it with red and pink orange staining plus other big pieces in the padock are dull or pure white and heaps of scattered little Pisces every where
