Ive just bought an Oztrail Outer Ridge Quest camper trailer and was looking for ideas setting up a small cooking/sink kitchen on the back swinging tailgate. Premade units range from $500 up so id like to save some money as well as getting the satisfaction of doing it myself :)

I hope I can get some nice ideas from people that have them.

Hey.

This is mine, which pivots in and out and I just use one of the little gas cookers on it and has a sink and running water. It would be easy to put it on a roller system or hang it on the tailgate...

All purchased from Bunnings...

Im sure I could utilize they sink layout idea , looks nice and light as well.
Is the frame held together with inserts in the Ali tubing ? And does bunnings sell them as well.

Hey Mate
Very interesting looking camper, would you mind doing a thread showing us more details of the actual camper from all angles, please.
cheers

Hey Garry.

Yep the parts all come from Bunnings except the sink, which I bought online. The alli (come in metre lengths I think and can be cut to suit your size) and black joiners are in the metal section at Bunnings and was very easy to make.

These are some of the parts....

Hey Lee.

Give me a couple of days and I will do a write up of my camper and do some pics. Cheers Wayne

Thanks Wayne
Im all good to pretty well knock up anything but I like the idea of lightweight and no stuffing around with welds , folds etc . So I think Ill go with your frame set up

All good to show it all in here :)
Saves spreading the info all over the place ;)

Yeah im planning on draws etc , so I can just wash up and pack everything away ready for the next trip. Currently ive got boxs of bits and pieces I have to round up when ever I go camping. It will be good to just hook up the camper and go without the worry and effort of trying to remember if I have everything.
Keep the ideas coming :)

Methinks, I've seen your camper before, how's the Silver Bullet going mate....?

Still a work in progress Mike, but nearly finished.

My son & wife and grandson take it out and love it for its ease of use.

Ps... The new Honda generator fits it well :p
