HI AR & Bundy,
You pair are having an absolute ball, great to see, lets hope the finds keep coming.
Cheers, SinHof.
Cheers SinHof, its been great fun indeed and in great company with someone to enjoy the history and hunt and feel the same excitement. We sit there with each find grinding at the possibilities of where it came from, how it got there and who dropped it or why etc. Sometimes we swing close and sometimes we swing within a kooee of each other. If one of us gets onto 3 or more coins like a spill, the other comes and swings too trying to draw a picture an old walking track or area where people gathered etc from the finds. Sometimes its just a random spill and we grid for an hour for no reason hahaha its always nice when both have found a decent handfull of finds, we both know it comes and goes in time as long as the coils on the ground ( and the detector is actually turned on..grr..dont you hate that ) :)

G'Day AR,
Detecting history, if we can call it that, can certainly get you in and can be very rewarding in many ways, not just in material finds, as you mentioned it's all of the facets that come with the hobby. My gold prospecting mate has just purchased a CTX3030 and we plan on chasing down some of the old timer's camps on the gold fields, could be interesting.
Cheers, SinHof.

Congratulations AR !!
Thats another great hunt
You guys are just going from strength to strength
Look at all those silvers 8)
Half crown :p COM / FOM you could win both :D

Abother swing out with Albundy again for some small coins and a Austrian 1958 10 shilling. Seems we were in either a quiet or too busy zone today with either junk, pulltabs and bottle caps in the way to fool us! Still a good day out up n about :D

G'Day AR,
Top hunt there mate, a really cool collection of pre D's and spends, you would have to pretty happy with that haul.
Cheers, SinHof.

Bloody 1870 coin spill gets you all motivated and excited next day, just to dig bottle tops and beaver tails all day grr  and pd or bit of history is a win for me, i still love the penny and its interesting seeing the change of dates per area we swing. Always nice when a half decent 1911 penny pops out or something. Suprised we havnt seen a Brit yet, even a hp brit but nope not yet
