So i took the new 4500 out today and could not get sound from the 15x12 mono gonna take it to minelab tomorrow to get get tested its a shame as its brand new has anyone else this problem

Howdy, check that you dont have the coli in cancel mode, make sure it is in mono
Yer have done that was on phone to minelab when testing it but was told to bring it to them
Just an update went to minelab today and was told coil is faulty none in stock to replace and have to wait for shipment to come from overseas now i have to wait for the 12x15 mono and 14 elite mono haha no a good way to start prospecting

When you say "Minelab," do you mean Minelab or a dealer ?
Either way, I'd be asking for a loan coil at the very least - I'd be livid if I'd just shelled out thousands if $ and couldn't use it as intended!

Well like I said, I'd be asking for, or demanding, a loan coil. There must be hundreds of unused 15x12's sitting aroud. And most dealers here have the Coiltek in stock now.
Yer she tryed to get me one but supposedly out of stock and for the coiltek coil coiltek are trying to chase some dealers with plenty in stock to rebuy off them to give to other shops
