I've been down the Albion track a few times but never seen that smiley tree and a nice little specie mate.

Thanks all. I think the smiley face tree has been created recently SC 75, Looks like some one has recently camped up there and done a bit of art work. There is another smiley face tree along side Yankee Rd.

I went back out today to try find my green scoop I lost yesterday. No luck on the scoop but I did manage to snag a couple of tiddler nuggies. I'll post some pics later tonight.

Well done mate, I actually found my lost Scoop @ our place in BLackwood the other day when I was out testing the Z, Aldo managed to snag some nice pieces in the flat area you know the place.

Yeah scrounger that was pic was taken when I first pulled up. Hey try hard I noticed a few more recent workings out there today.

Hey Chuky you need a pro find pointer to find those pieces.

I got one man. I think I'd lose it out at Blackwood though. I'm already down one scoop and one pair of sunnies. I think carrying less gear out there makes it easier to move around.

Finally got a chance yesterday to get out there and find the smiley tree.
Nice area but unfortunately the weather was nuts. Every time I got out of the car to detect it would start raining. I don't even think I got half an hour in.
Sat on a log in the rain and let all the old ghosts come out.
Nice area I will definitely visit again.

What can I say. Haven't had a chance to go out for ages. Got a few free hours yesterday so I hit Blackwood. Got to keep those detecting skills up. Found some old diggings and geez that area is tough to detect.

As usual, no yellow, But it was great being out in that creepy forest. At one stage I felt eyes watching me as I was digging up some rubbish. turned around and sure enough there was a kanga eyeing me of. hahah

It'll come Hardluck hang in there mate....and keep an eye on them roos, they're shady I tells ya.

Got a few more free hours last Saturday. Got out to that creepy bush again. Didn't even take the detector out of the car as the rain couldn't make it's mind up. Great to walk around and not come across anyone else. Even the kangas were nowhere to be seen.
