For all the Gpx 4000 owners out there who haven't had the original push in on/off button replaced yet ,get it done ! I knew they had a problem with them when they first came out and intended to get mine done when i sent mine to Minelab for a service after the New Year. The symptoms where there , not coming on straight away , have to push in 3 or 4 times to get it going. Then the other night went to turn it off and it wouldn't ! Had to disconnect from the battery to shut it down. Then when i tried to restart it nothing the button was dead. So its off to Minelab with it today for a new toggle switch. Emailed service dept at Minelab and they got back to me in 10 mins ! So for the new switch, and to replace a couple of bits etc labour and post $140 all up. A small price to pay to keep my baby in top condition ! regards Bill
