Hi all, I have an old gp3000 that ill be using soon. I have 2 questions 1 been how long should the 6v 6ah battery last while detecting and the 2nd regarding the batteries them selves. Is i possible to use a 18v Milwaukee battery with some sort of voltage reducer? These would be a lot lighter...

not much reported there by the looks of that, I've had a read of a few articles and compared to google maps and i have a few spots i think ill check out around that area. Cool map though ill be sure to use it ill have to learn all the markers and what they mean

ah right, thanks for letting me know :) I'm new to prospecting and from Muswellbrook, have been reading the forums about the "Denman" and "Jerrys Plains" gold. My partner and I are keen to explore the area and see what we can find :D
