Creswick is a good place for trash if that's what your after lol but hard place for gold it's there just doesn't want to be found! I've found three small pieces around White Swan Reservoir area but that's all as of yet.

Found a nice little patch of ground today while out prospecting and was an old tree on its own thought I'd try my luck and give it a go over with the coil and picked up a nice little 1.2gram nugget 3cm in the ground not a bad find for walking around in misty rain for a few hours

Found a nice little patch which I drive past every time and not pay any attention too and thought id have a quick peak with the detector and picked up a faint signal with the AT gold. wasn't going to dig it for a start as it never gave me a reading on the screen and lucky I did was a small .21...

Hi Billabong, I'll defiantly take a look around those areas, I had a look up Shuttleworth Rd in the burnt out area backing onto the creek and found a reasonable amount of 22 shells nothing remotely interesting.. I'll keep you posted if I find anything thankyou.
