Kunanurra beside the lake is full of great people. 2nd is Pine Ck in WA as well. Best memories singing around a camp fire looking at the Platypuses in the adjoining creek

I had 4.75 mtr Stacer Easyrider for 8 yrs but due to physical probs had to sell it. I nearly got 3/4 of the original price because the price of Aluminium had shot up. Lovely craft with a 75HP 2stroke pushing her along. I miss her quite often. :(

Bitangabee bay just south of Eden. Dragged the tinnies down to the beach. Best weeks camping Ive had.

Never camped there but loved skin diving there as a kid. Lovely part of the world

But I like the solitude that the outback of SA offers in our winter months, with mild days and crisp nights.... perfect camping weather. :Y:

Limestone Creek flat near the caves, in the Cobberas, east of Benambra, about 1970 as a student field assistant. We worked alone during the day in those days, covering tens of km of stream sampling some days, and meeting the wild brumbies. Tom Treasure was up there pegging in those days (eg Wild Dog Flat) and the Pendergasts were prominent.
