    Panning / crevicing in Mogo

If you haven't found anything you are looking in the wrong spot. Plenty in Mogo. Took me a while to work a few spots out. Best I can say is don't drive past the power lines too far.

    Minelab GPX4000 tips, settings, questions

Hi lordo.1, I have been able to get my hands on a DVD called The outback prospector The GPX factor which is all about the GPX4000. He talks about settings and how the different settings work. Very informative DVD and well worth the watch if you can get it. It is made by a fellow named Jonathan...

Thanks for the offer Gypsy. I may need it...lol. I am still waiting for the nugget finder coil to arrive so I am just playing around with the GP extreme coil it had on it when I brought it. Not that I have been able to get out in the bush with it yet.

    Minelab GPX4000 tips, settings, questions

Hi everyone, Hoping for a little bit of advice. I have just brought a second hand GPX4000 but have no experience with the GPX series of detectors. I am wondering if the standard settings are good enough to run a new 12' Nugget Finder coil. I have search the internet and found a video with shows...

A WORD OF WARNING, HIGHBANKING IN NSW IS NOW ILLEGAL.

Get it into the main stream media. At the moment the only people who even know what is going on are people associated with forums like this. Maybe getting the issue onto one of the current affairs shows might be needed. Show them what a highbanker is and how they work and tell them what the...

    NEWCASTLE. Love my city.

Still remember heading into Newcastle to go and watch the Newcastle Falcons play at the Entertainment Center with 'Fly Like a Falcon' playing over and over on the tape deck. And who couldn't forget the mighty Kurri Kurri Bulldogs winning the grand final in 93, 94 and 95. "Go you mighty...

    Warri bridge, Shoalhaven River

Not that I know of Les. As long as you keep to the river you should be fine. I have found plenty of flour gold in the area just down from the camping area.

    Eurobodalla LGA NSW

Eurobodalla Council have declared the area a NSW fossicking district. Not sure what difference it will make but I suppose it is a step in the right direction. http://www.2ec.com.au/news/66136-eurobodalla-a-gold-mine-for-fossickers

    Canberra region information and questions

Welcome Rosswab, If your heading down Mogo way it might be worth while stopping in at Detectaden. They may point you in the right direction. You could also stop in at Old Mogo Town where you can try your hand at panning. Anyway, good luck and hopefully you find a sweet spot in Mogo creek....

    Minerama 2017

I have to agree with you Cherokee, I also had a great time at Glen Innes. I found it to be a great little country town. I did hear that it can get a tad bit cold in winter though.... The Emerald mine was great, I was more than happy with my finds especially the 26ct Topaz. Spoke with Steve (mine...

    Canberra Show

They had a similar set up at the Newcastle show last year. No sure of the name but the fellow running it had bags of seeded dirt and a long tom style water system set up.
