the water should clear up in about 2-3 days when thetidal strength eases off and theres been some great catches up the end from dawn to dusk if you can get up there the maccys, tuna and trevally are on :)

its a great place and if you got a boat youre guaranteed fish up here around fraser island and the artificial reef ,the jetty can run hot and cold and is only really good lately when the tidal movement is lower and no wind and clear water and when you can get up the end past the army of young...

brown trout is overrated but rainbows from clean water that feed on yabbies taste awesome ,shame is most people have only tasted the pellet fed farm trout ,i wouldnt rate those either lol good tip for rsinbows in clear wster other than flies an lures is light line piece of cork or bubble float...
