Hi all, a good friend of mine is regretfully selling his GPZ 7000. He is an older gentlemen and unfortunately can't do detecting any longer as he did his back.
I suggested to him I could post it on the forum as he is not a member and someone here could be interested.
The detector was purchased...
Thanks mate. I was hoping you will chime in. I will be there from Saturday and leave Monday morning. Let me know if you in the area so we can catch up again.
G'day ladies and gents,
Just wondering if any local to the area could tell me if the creek is running. I am planning to have a scratch on the long weekend. I think the weather forecast says it is going to be warm so might change plans if it's just puddles.
Cheers,
Beagleboy
Here are few specks I managed to rescue from Reedy creek. Thanks for coming around Araluen, it was nice to catch up. You are a wealth of information and a nice bloke on top of that. My mates kids got a crash course in prospecting from you. I think you may have given them the gold fever. :-)
Sorry missed you post above. There is designated area where you can prospect for a reason. Warrandyte is full of greenies so they will not be happy if you start digging up their backyard. There are few spots that I know of where people go panning but I don't think it would be legal. Yarra is...
I own Gold Rat high banker and I must say they are amazing value and in my opinion one of the best gear you can buy if you want the best. I had mine next to a Gold Hog which cost 2x as much (not including the shipping from US) and I reckon it is very comparable in quality if not better. The ease...
Mate Warrandyte is a suburb so you are allowed to prospect within the designated area. Some creeks run through private properties. The water in the creek stinks of sewage as lot of the houses are on septic tanks which leak. Make sure you wear gloves.
We will be there until Monday so we can definitely catch up. I think the ladies might visit the festival. They went last time it was on and it was busy.
G'day ladies and gents,
Would any of you locals tell me what is the water situation at Reedy creek? I am planning a visit at easter. Thank you in advance.
